How to Subscribe and Participate in the IUFoST Internet Forums

In conjunction with the IUFoST 12th World Congress, two international Internet forums will be offered on-line during October 1, 2002 through April 30, 2003:

Additional information is available on the IUFoST Internet forums home page at: http://seafood.ucdavis.edu/iufost

Subscribing and unsubscribing are done automatically via computer. You must leave the cc: and subject: lines empty.  Also, any footer messages must be deleted.  For subscription inquiries or assistance, contact  Pamela Tom, e-mail: pdtom@ucdavis.edu

To SUBSCRIBE to either discussion group, address your request to: listproc@ucdavis.edu

In the message text you will need to include the command "subscribe"; the name of the discussion group, and your name. If you wish to subscribe to both discussion groups in one e-mail message request, here's how to do it:

subscribe fermentations [your first name] [your last name]
subscribe vaccine [your first name] [your last name]

To PARTICIPATE, after subscribing, e-mail your message to the respective forum: vaccine@ucdavis.edu or fermentations@ucdavis.edu

To UNSUBSCRIBE address your request to: listproc@ucdavis.edu

Unsubscribing is done automatically by the computer and is based on the original e-mail address that you used for subscribing. If you add any other types of messages or footers with your e-mail request, the computer rejects your request.
